Foster Care Reimbursement Rate Committee
Legislative Bill 530 (LB 530), which was signed by Governor Dave Heineman on June 4, 2013, created a new Foster Care Reimbursement Rate Committee as a committee of the Nebraska Children’s Commission.
LB530 requires the committee to review and make recommendations in the following areas:
- Foster care reimbursement rates;
- Statewide standardized level of care assessment; and
- Adoption assistance payments.

The committee submitted their report of recommendations due July 1, 2020.
In 2023, the Foster Care Reimbursement Rate Committee currently meets bimonthly.
