Level of Responsibility Workgroup
(Formerly the Level of Care Workgroup)
The Foster Care Reimbursement Rate Committee established the Level of Responsibility (LOR) Workgroup to create a tool to identify the responsibilities of the caregiver to ensure the child receives the appropriate level of care. The LOR Workgroup continues to meet regularly to refine and revise the Nebraska Caregiver Responsibilities (NCR) Tool. The most current version of the NCR Tool can be found below.
Throughout 2018-2019, the LOR workgroup has also focused on the enhancements and changes to better meet the needs of adoptive families by creating an adoptive parent and guardian responsibility tool to be used in preparation for and after permanency. In addition to the expertise of the LOR Workgroup, adoption professionals, foster parent organizations, and DHHS came together to create the Nebraska Permanency Resource Responsibility Tool (NPRRT). The most current version of the NPRRT can be found below.
